From the house garden a well formed trail of 2.5 kilometers
winds through a valley of mature broadleaf sub-tropical rainforest
covering 20 acres.

The forest contains a mosaic of different forest types, from dry ridge to lush nikau forest alongside the stream.

The track is well formed, is suitable for all weather conditions,
and easily enjoyed for people of modest fitness.

A pest control program has been in place for 7 years which
contributes to an expanding population of native birds.

There are no sculptures in the rainforest
